"La Bayadére"(translates to "The Temple Dancer") is a classical ballet choreographed by Marius Petipa with music by Ludwig Minkus. Set in ancient India, this romantic tragedy tells the story of Nikiya, a temple dancer and Solor, a noble warrior who swear eternal love.

Mariinsky Ballet principal dancers Renata Shakirova and Kimin Kim return to Manila to perform in all three performances of Ballet Manila's "La Bayadére".
