About this Event

Ink, meet paper. ⁣

Printmaking is the magic of transferring a design from a hand-carved surface onto paper or fabric, where every single press yields a unique impression.⁣

This upcoming introductory workshop will guide participants through various relief printmaking techniques, with a special focus on Lino-cutting. Leading the session on July 29 is Mr. Gabriel Sebastien P. Gomez, a BFA Information Design graduate and passionate printmaking enthusiast. Under his guidance, participants will learn the fundamentals of relief printing and be equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to create their own one-of-a-kind prints.⁣

Other details:
- Open to college students
- Limited to 10–15 participants
- Participants are encouraged to bring cutters and cutting mats⁣, as well as an extra shirt or apron (the activity may get messy).
- The workshop involves the use of carving tools and knives. Proper care and safety measures will be observed throughout the session.⁣
- ⁣Materials provided: Lino knife and block
